Seeking to build an eco-friendly house? Go for building with Soil Interlocking wall bricks and see the difference! Toughie Engineering, a prime Interlock bricks supplier in Kerala has come up with an innovative construction method using interlocking bricks which is fast becoming popular day by day. It considerably reduces the number of building materials, cost of construction, and the time taken to complete the construction.

Soil Interlocking wall bricks are as strong as the regular mud blocks or the laterite stones and can bear huge weight as well. So, they can be used to build load-bearing walls or multistoried buildings. Even Cement plastering is not needed as the interlocking wall bricks have shiny outer surfaces. Putty could be directly applied over the walls and then finished off with paint. It helps reduce the cost of construction of the walls up to 30% to 40%.

Manufacturing

Toughie Soil Interlock wall bricks or compressed soil interlocking blocks are made using a mixture of laterite soil and ordinary Portland cement. The sand is first powdered in a crusher and then mixed with 3% cement in a mixing machine. This mixture is then turned into blocks of specific measurements using a hydraulic press machine. The blocks are water cured for 7 days before being construction-ready and shipped to the site.

Inner walls look amazing after applying a coat of terracotta-colored paint & outer walls can be coated with waterproof paint. The interlock wall blocks are nowadays used to build boundary walls as well. After constructing the wall, applying a thin concrete layer above it would increase its strength and prevent the rainwater from seeping in.

Currently available sizes of Soil interlocking wall Bricks:

1.  10*8*5 (25 CM X20 CM X13 CM)

2.   10*6*5 (25 CM X15 CM X13 CM)
