Munnar has become one of the most popular holiday destinations in India. The reason are many, for its growing attraction. Munnar has the highest peak in South India, Anamudi; which towers over 2,695 m. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking. Rajamala, just 15km from Munnar is the natural habitat of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
India’s only tea museum run by Tata Tea traces the evolution of the tea industry in Munnar from the 1880’s.It displays an interesting array of relics and artefacts from the past.
