Munnar has become one of the most popular holiday destinations in  India. The reason are many, for its growing attraction. At an elevation of 1,500 – 2,500 m above sea level, it has a pleasant temperature throughout the year, varying from 0 degrees to 30 degrees. India’s only tea museum run by Tata Tea traces the evolution of the tea industry in Munnar from the 1880’s.It displays an interesting array of relics and artefacts from the past.

The guests at Spice Tree are offered many possibilities for sightseeing, trekking, and to engage in a variety of activities at Munnar, Bison Valley and its surrounding areas. For example, a visit to Kolukkumalay located in steep, rugged terrain has the highest tea garden in the world at 7,900 ft.
